Artist Development 101: The introduction
Like mentioned in the previous "Artist Development 101" post; impressions are truly everything. When sending out emails, making calls, or simply introducing yourself to other industry personnel it is impeccably important for you to introduce your self properly and most importantly politely.
No one likes to be approached with "YO". That is not professional nor polite. My life does not revolve around yours, apart from music I have a life. You are requesting my time so approach me with some respect. I would not turn away anyone unless I feel disrespected as with anyone els- real talk. Time is money , don't waste my time. Don't approach me unless you have your business together.
